HISTORY
Stromdahl’s Service Ltd. was started by Gus Stromdahl in 1956 where he built the company to a thriving success during some very difficult economic times. If you asked any of his customers why they dealt with Stromdahl’s they were quick to reply “The Service”. Gus would have gone out of his way to make sure that every customers needs were met. After Gus’s retirement, he went on to volunteer countless hours to his home town he loved. Born in 1921 in Prince Rupert, Gus found it important to put as much back into the community as possible. Gus served on the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital Board as Vice Chairmen, was the Building Chairmen of the Regional Hospital, Founding member and President of the Acropolis Senior Home, served on the Prince Rupert Visitor Bureau and was the past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Club. |
Throughout the years Stromdahl’s Service has grown from a small distributor to a major supplier of domestic and International marine fuel.
